Step-free accessSome stations · Station list →PPer-station table: 17 of the 39 stations can be entered by wheelchair (ramp or level), others have stairs only or narrow entrances; slopes other than the marked wheelchair ramps are steep, so bring a helper. Accessible toilets at Enshu-Mori, Tenryu-Futamata and several other stations.
Board the one-man train through the nearest door (people getting off have priority at the front door).
Take a numbered ticket (整理券 seiriken) as you board, even if you already have a ticket or commuter pass. Without one you may be charged the fare from the train's starting station.
Have cash ready: IC cards and card payment cannot be used.
Getting off
At Kakegawa and Shinjohara, hand your ticket, numbered ticket and fare to the station staff.
At Enshu-Mori, Tenryu-Futamata, Kanasashi and Mikkabi, pay the station staff while the station is staffed (daytime only); outside those hours pay on the train as at unstaffed stations.
Wheelchair assistance
Several stations are hard or impossible to use in a wheelchair, and older cars have no wheelchair ramp. Call the sales section (営業課) by the day before you travel; staff then help you on and off at the platforms. Most stations are unstaffed; Kakegawa and Shinjohara are staffed all day, Enshu-Mori, Tenryu-Futamata, Kanasashi and Mikkabi in the daytime. Tel. 053-925-2276
