- Board through the rear door and take a numbered ticket (seiriken).
- Station ticket windows: only Kanada sells all tickets; the JR windows at Nōgata, Yukuhashi and the Tagawa stations handle commuter passes only.
Getting off
- Get off through the front door. Show your ticket, or pay the fare, together with the numbered ticket to the driver.
- Changing trains without a ticket: tell the driver, pay to your destination and keep the receipt to show on the next train with the numbered ticket.
- Getting off at Tagawa-Gotōji (or at Yukuhashi when the west exit is closed), you receive a fare certificate: hand it in at the JR gate or on the JR train.
