Good to know
- Since 14 March 2026 the Johana Line and Himi Line take ICOCA, and you can change between them, the Nanao Line, IR Ishikawa Railway and Ainokaze Toyama Railway on one card.
- Between Nanao and Wakura-Onsen, Noto Railway local trains do not take IC cards: use a JR train or buy a ticket.
- Small stations often have a simple reader post with no gate. Tap it when you enter and again when you leave.
