Good to know
- Extended on 17 Jan 2026 to Hyuga-Shintomi (Nippo Line) and the Nichinan Line from Minamikata to Aoshima.
- SUGOCA (and other IC card) balance cannot pay for the Kyushu or Nishi-Kyushu Shinkansen: buy a ticket.
- At unstaffed stations, always tap the simple SUGOCA reader when you enter and when you leave.
