How to book

  1. Book on the Cafe Train website (pay online by credit card, or in cash at Isahaya Station on the day)
  2. Or phone the Shimabara Railway information centre, 0957-62-4705 (9:00–18:00)
  3. Seats are assigned by the railway; cancellation fees apply from 7 days before
  4. On the day, check in at the Shimabara Railway window at Isahaya Station by 10:50

Includes the meal and drinks, a one-way Shimabara → Isahaya rail ticket for your return (valid until the next day, no stopovers) and entry to Shimabara Castle and the Shimeiso spring garden. Under-6s ride free without a meal.
