- Buy the seat reservation ticket from one month before at staffed Aizu Railway stations, from the conductor on board, or at Tobu Top Tours, Kinki Nippon Tourist or Nippon Travel
- Choose trolley, tatami (zashiki) or observation seats when you buy
- Phone reservations are not accepted; online seat booking is linked from the official page
