Is it worth it?
Add the normal one-way fares of the rides you plan within 1 day (from the fare charts at stations or a route planner).
Express, seat and Green car charges are usually not included in a pass: leave them out of the fares too unless the pass covers them.
How to use it
- Subway: put the pass through the automatic gate; the date is printed on it the first time. Take it back from the gate.
- Kyoto City Bus and Kyoto Bus: board at the rear door, and the first time put the pass into the card slot of the fare box so the date is printed; after that just show the printed date to the driver when you get off.
- Keihan Bus or West JR Bus as your first ride: write the date in the box on the front with a permanent marker and show it to the driver when you get off.
- Sightseeing Express buses (EX100, EX101) are included; board them at the front door.
- Show the pass at about 50 sights and shops for discounts on the day of use.
