IC cards and payment in detail
manaca works on the whole Yutorito Line (Meitetsu manaca page), and the nimoca terms list Nagoya Guideway Bus among bus operators that take nimoca. The operator's own site (guideway.co.jp) blocks automated access, so other cards and how to touch on/off could not be checked there. P
名古屋ガイドウェイバス(ゆとりーとライン) 全線Getting on
- Take a numbered ticket (整理券 seiriken) when you board.
- Nagoya City bus/subway one-day tickets and the Donichi Eco Kippu are valid only on the street (bus) section, not on the elevated guideway between Ozone and Obata Ryokuchi (except: riders aged 18 or under may use the Donichi Eco Kippu on the elevated section during a trial).
Getting off
- Put your numbered ticket into the fare box when you get off.
- With a Nagoya City one-day ticket: show the expiry date printed on the back to the crew; if no date is printed, insert the ticket in the fare box card slot.
- If you rode on the elevated section with a city one-day ticket, pay the fare for the elevated section.
