Since 21 August 2021 transport IC cards of the nationwide interoperability scheme can be used on the whole Utsube and Hachioji lines: every station has IC gates. IC cards can be topped up at Asunarou-Yokkaichi station. IC commuter passes of this railway and Kintetsu can be combined on one card. P

Getting on
Asunarou-Yokkaichi station is next to Kintetsu-Yokkaichi station: leave through the Kintetsu south gate and cross the road.
Touch your transport IC card on the IC gate at the station when you enter, or use a paper ticket.
Getting off
Touch the same IC card on the IC gate when you leave.

Valid on the day of travel only (may differ by ticket design). The limited-design ticket is invalid unless you write the date of use on it. Unused tickets can be refunded within validity for a ¥200 fee; lost tickets are not reissued.
