Getting on

  1. Buy a ticket at the ticket machine, or use an IC card. Within the airport line, choose the fare to your destination.
  2. Going from Sendai, Nagamachi or another JR station to the airport line, touch the station-name button, not a fare button.
  3. Trains run through between Sendai Airport and Sendai (about 25 minutes by local train); no change at Natori is needed.
  4. Shinkansen tickets, commuter passes, coupon and return tickets are not sold at the airport line's stations.

Getting off

  1. If your ticket (for example a Shinkansen ticket) does not show your destination station, you may need to pay the difference at the station.
  2. At Sendai Airport Station, the front car in the direction of travel is closest to the gate.
Wheelchair assistance

Wheelchair users: contact the station window in advance; staff arrange a ramp and tell your arrival station. Come at least 15 minutes before departure. Tel. 022-383-0150
