- Buy a ticket at the ticket machine, or use an IC card. Within the airport line, choose the fare to your destination.
- Going from Sendai, Nagamachi or another JR station to the airport line, touch the station-name button, not a fare button.
- Trains run through between Sendai Airport and Sendai (about 25 minutes by local train); no change at Natori is needed.
- Shinkansen tickets, commuter passes, coupon and return tickets are not sold at the airport line's stations.
Getting off
- If your ticket (for example a Shinkansen ticket) does not show your destination station, you may need to pay the difference at the station.
- At Sendai Airport Station, the front car in the direction of travel is closest to the gate.
