IC cards and payment in detail

Ryūtetsu's own pages do not mention transport IC cards (Suica, PASMO…) at all; they describe only paper tickets sold at every station. Check on site before relying on an IC card. P

Getting on

  1. Buy a ticket at the ticket machine or window at the station before boarding (every station sells tickets). A single ticket is valid on the day of purchase only; a return ticket for 2 days.
  2. Trains have been one-man (driver only) all day since January 2010.

Getting off

  1. Hand in or show your ticket at the exit. If you get off at a different station and your ticket is short, pay the difference (no refund if you paid too much).
  2. Stopping off on the way makes the rest of the ticket invalid.
  3. One-day ticket on the RYDE PASS app: show the ticket screen to the station staff at the gate when you get off.
