No IC cards (TOICA, manaca, Suica etc.) on the Johoku Line. If you came to Biwajima on JR with an IC card, touch it on the Biwajima gate to pay the JR fare, then buy a Johoku Line ticket at the ticket machine. P

- At JR Biwajima: buy a Johoku Line ticket at the JR ticket machine (tickets from Biwajima only).
- At Kachigawa: tickets from Kachigawa are sold at the JR Kachigawa ticket machine.
- Coming from JR with an IC card: touch out at the Biwajima gate first to pay the JR fare, then buy a Johoku Line ticket.
Getting on
- At the other stations (Owari Hoshinomiya, Otai, Hira, Ajiyoshi) you can pay the fare on the one-man train.
Wheelchair assistance
JR Tokai Transport Service railway department (7:00–20:00 every day). Lifts only at Otai and JR Biwajima; accessible toilet only at JR Biwajima; no escalators at any station. Tel. 052-504-3001
