Transport IC cards (Suica etc.) cannot be used on the Minato Line. At Katsuta, the IC fare adjustment machine at the transfer gate only settles the JR fare. Pay in cash or with PayPay, au PAY, d-barai or Merpay at the Minato Line ticket counters. P

Getting on

  1. At Katsuta (shared with JR), go to Minato Line platform 1 without leaving the gates; buy a Minato Line ticket at the counter there (open 6:00–19:50). Cash or PayPay, au PAY, d-barai, Merpay; no IC cards.
  2. At Nakaminato, buy your ticket at the window; credit cards and code payments are accepted there.
  3. Outside window hours, just board the train and pay when you get off.

Getting on

  1. At unstaffed stations, board without a ticket.
  2. Buy your ticket (or a one-day pass) from the crew on the train, or at the Katsuta or Nakaminato gate.
