Booking recommended. Seats can be booked online until the day before travel; there are no same-day reservations (not even by phone), so on the day you buy a ticket at the pier for a sailing that still has seats. Wheelchair users must reserve (one wheelchair space per boat). Groups of 10 or more book by phone.

Good to know P
- The boat runs on Hiroshima's rivers, so sailings are cancelled when the tide is too high (cannot pass under bridges) or too low; around spring tides many are cancelled. Check the day's timetable once your dates are set.
- Tickets to Miyajima need the 100-yen Miyajima Visitor Tax per person on top of the fare.
