How to book

No reservation: seats are first come, first served
On the day, buy a ticket and a stove train ticket at the window of Tsugaru-Goshogawara, Kanagi or Tsugaru-Nakasato (cash only)
Queue at the ticket gate; you are let onto the platform in queue order
Boarding at an unstaffed station: buy both tickets from the conductor
If the stove cars are full, ride the coupled regular cars to Tsugaru-Nakasato and take the stove car back, or wait for the next stove train

Stove train ticket (on top of the fare)	¥1,000

The fare is extra (e.g. Tsugaru-Goshogawara – Tsugaru-Nakasato 870 yen). Cash only. The Tsugaru Free Pass is not valid on the stove train.
