Book online from 00:00 Japan time one month before the travel day (same date of the previous month); up to 8 people per booking, pay by credit card
Pick your car and seat; car 5 (Rich-go) is the open car without windows
Show the QR e-ticket from My Page to staff at the gate
Or buy same-day tickets at the Torokko Saga, Arashiyama or Kameoka windows (not Hozukyo) from about 8:35–9:10; standing tickets are sold once seats run out
Free cancellation until 23:59 the day before; no changes or refunds on the travel day
