- Book online through JR Central "EX Tabisaki Yoyaku" or JRE MALL Ticket (sold as a package of fare + express ticket)
- Or call Oigawa Railway on 0547-45-4112 (10:00–17:00) from 30 days before until 13:00 the day before, then pay and collect the ticket at the station window on the day
- Book by phone (not online) if you only need the express ticket or use a free pass or through ticket from JR
- Same-day tickets are sold at the station window, first come first served; if full you may have to stand
