How to book
- Book on the "Chichibu Railway SL reservation system" (pick your own seat; credit card only) from midnight one month before until 30 minutes before departure from your station
- Or buy with cash at Hanyu, Kumagaya, Fukaya-Hanazono, Yorii, Nagatoro, Chichibu, Ohanabatake or Mitsumineguchi station windows
- Buy the fare separately on the day (IC cards are accepted)
- Show the "purchased trains" page of the reservation system to the staff when boarding and leaving

An SL reserved seat ticket (same price for adults and children, one way) is needed on top of the fare; the amount is shown only as an image on the official page. The station-window price differs from the online price.
