- Cash: take a numbered ticket (整理券 seiriken) on the train or on the platform when you board.
2. On the train
One-man train: the driver drives and collects fares. Keep the 整理券 you took when you boarded until you get off.

3. Get off at Uchigoshi
- Card or phone: touch it for one second on the reader at the exit door (降車口) when you get off. For a child or disability fare, or to pay for several people with one card, tell the driver before you touch.

- The fare box gives no change for notes: change money at the change machine before you pay.
