Before use, scratch off the silver panels for the month and day of use (scratching two months or two days makes it invalid).
Trains: automatic gates do not accept it; show the date side to the staff at the staffed gate.
Buses: take a numbered ticket when you board and show the pass to the driver when you get off.
If you ride beyond the area, pay the ordinary fare from the area boundary. Late-night buses need the normal fare.
