- Validity
- 3 consecutive days, from 0:00 on the first day to 24:00 on the last day. Child = 6–11 years old when bought; up to two children aged 1–5 travel free with each pass holder (without own seat).
- Who can buy
- Holders of a foreign (non-Japanese) passport entering Japan with "Temporary Visitor" (短期滞在) status; Japanese nationals cannot use it, even with permanent residence abroad. Carry your passport.
- Format
- Paper pass collected with your passport; seat reservations are separate free tickets.
- When it is sold
- Sold only as an exchange order (E-TICKET) through travel agencies outside Japan.

Is it worth it?
Add the normal one-way fares of the rides you plan within 3 days (from the fare charts at stations or a route planner).
Express, seat and Green car charges are usually not included in a pass: leave them out of the fares too unless the pass covers them.
How to use it
- Buy an E-TICKET from a travel agency outside Japan and exchange it for the pass at a JR West exchange station with your passport.
- Use it on the valid trains in the area shown on the pass map, on consecutive days (0:00 on the first day to 24:00 on the last day).
- Reserve seats at ticket machines or ticket offices before boarding (online for passes bought on JR-WEST ONLINE TRAIN RESERVATION).
- Carry your passport with the pass and show it when JR staff ask.
