manaca and all nationwide IC cards work on the whole Atsumi Line (mobile versions too). Touch the simple IC reader at the station when you enter and when you leave. Only the staffed stations (Shin-Toyohashi, Minami-Sakae, Takashi, Oshimizu, Mikawa-Tahara) have charge machines. Errors on mobile cards cannot be cleared at Toyotetsu stations: go to Meitetsu Shin-Toyohashi. P

渥美線、市内線ともに全区間でmanacaをはじめ、全国相互利用ICカード乗車券（Kitaca、PASMO、Suica、TOICA、PiTaPa、ICOCA、はやかけん、nimoca、SUGOCA）が利用できます。

Getting on

  1. Buy a ticket at the ticket machine or ticket window, or touch your IC card on the IC reader.
  2. Staffed stations: Shin-Toyohashi, Minami-Sakae, Takashi, Oshimizu and Mikawa-Tahara (Aichi-Daigaku-mae sells tickets only on university days). Some windows close at midday on weekends and holidays.

Getting off

  1. Hand in your ticket or touch your IC card at the exit.
  2. If your IC balance is too low, top up at the charge machine or the fare adjustment window.

Getting on

  1. Unstaffed stations: Yagyubashi, Koike, Ashihara, Ueta, Mukogaoka, Oitsu, Sugiyama, Yagumadai, Toshima, Kanbe.
  2. With an IC card, touch the simple IC reader at the station. There is no charge machine, so top up beforehand.
  3. Without a ticket, pay the fare to the crew; tell the crew if you need a receipt.

Getting off

  1. Touch your IC card on the simple IC reader when you leave.
  2. If the balance was too low, complete the top-up and exit processing at a staffed station (Shin-Toyohashi, Minami-Sakae, Takashi, Oshimizu, Mikawa-Tahara) before your next trip.
Wheelchair assistance

Wheelchair users can use Shin-Toyohashi, Yagyubashi, Aichi-Daigaku-mae (south gate only), Minami-Sakae, Yagumadai and Mikawa-Tahara. For other stations call the Atsumi Line office by 18:00 the day before. Handle-type electric wheelchairs only between Shin-Toyohashi and Mikawa-Tahara. Tel. 0532-45-4927

Getting on

  1. Board through the front door.
  2. Pay as you board, into the fare box in front of you: cash, or touch your IC card on the reader at the entrance. The fare is flat: adult ¥200, child ¥100.
  3. Single tickets are also sold at the ticket machine at the Ekimae (Toyohashi Station) stop.
  4. At Azumada stop there is no platform: wait on the blue roadside area and cross only after cars have stopped.

Getting off

  1. When your stop is announced, press the stop button.
  2. Get off through the middle door. IC card users do not touch again.
  3. If the tram does not go to your destination, ask for a transfer ticket (のりかえ券) and change at Keirinjo-mae or Ihara. If you boarded the wrong branch (Akaiwaguchi / Undokoen-mae), tell the driver while stopped to get a transfer ticket.
