IC cards and payment in detail
PASMO, Suica and other transport IC cards cannot be used on the Shibayama Railway (Shibayama-Chiyoda station). Buy a paper ticket. If you rode in from Keisei on an IC card, pay the Shibayama fare in cash at the Shibayama-Chiyoda window; you get a PASMO/Suica processing slip to settle the card at a window of an IC-card station (best at the last station of the other company you used). - Buy a paper ticket (kippu) before riding; IC cards are not accepted. The fare Shibayama-Chiyoda – Higashi-Narita is adult ¥220, child ¥110.
- Coupon tickets (11 rides for the price of 10, valid 3 months) are sold from the ticket machines at Shibayama-Chiyoda and Higashi-Narita.
- A ticket is valid only on the day it is bought; stopping off on the way cancels the rest of the ticket.
Getting off
- If you came in from Keisei on an IC card, go to the Shibayama-Chiyoda window: pay the Shibayama fare in cash and take the PASMO/Suica processing slip. Show the slip and your card at a window of a station that handles IC cards.
