Step-free accessStation list → PNot step-free: stairs lead to the boarding area and the entrance is narrow, so wheelchair users can hardly board. Wheelchairs and strollers can be borrowed free at the upper cable car station, the Otobaru Gate and the information desk.

Wheelchair assistance

The cable car is the access to the Rakutenchi amusement park in Beppu: entry at the Main Gate (adult ¥1,300, child 3+ ¥600) includes a round trip on the cable car; it runs every 20 minutes during park hours. Wheelchair users will find it hard to board (stairs to the platform, narrow entrance): use the hilltop Otobaru Gate instead. Fold strollers before boarding.
