Getting on

  1. SL Mōka (steam train): you need an ordinary ticket for your section (commuter passes and coupons not valid) plus an SL seat ticket (SL整理券, adult ¥500, child ¥250, unreserved), bought on the day; web reservation recommended.
  2. Boarding the SL at an unstaffed station: buy the tickets from the conductor after boarding.
