Step-free accessStation list → PWheelchairs can use 13 stations: elevators at Shin-Hamamatsu, Dai-ichi-dori, Enshu-Byoin, Hachiman, Sukenobu, Hikuma and Kamijima; slopes at Sekishi (narrow: no large wheelchairs, manual ones not alone), Hamakita, Misono-Chuo-koen, Enshu-Kobayashi and Enshu-Gansuiji; level access at Nishikajima from platform 1 only. Other stations cannot handle wheelchairs; Dai-ichi-dori has a multipurpose toilet on the 2nd floor.
IC cards and payment in detail

Nationwide transport IC cards (Suica, PASMO, TOICA, ICOCA etc.) cannot be used on Entetsu trains. Only Entetsu's own IC card NicePass works (touch the reader); it is sold at the railway office, station windows and Entetsu bus counters. Contactless credit-card touch payment is available instead (see below). P

Getting on

  1. Every station has a ticket machine near the entrance: buy a ticket before boarding (choose adult or child and the number of people, touch the destination station name, pay cash).
  2. With NicePass or a contactless credit card (Visa, Mastercard, JCB, American Express, Diners Club, Discover, UnionPay) or a phone wallet, touch the boarding card reader instead of buying a ticket. Hold one card only, until it beeps.
  3. Card touch payment charges the adult fare only and one card pays for one person: children and several people need tickets.

Getting off

  1. Hand your ticket to the station staff at the gate.
  2. NicePass or credit card: touch the exit card reader with the same card (or phone) you used when boarding.
  3. If you rode past your ticket's destination, pay the fare difference.
Wheelchair assistance

Wheelchair users can use 13 stations (elevator, ramp or level access; Nishikajima only from platform 1). Call by 18:00 the day before (phone 9:00–18:00) and staff help you board.
