Getting on

  1. Buy a one-way or return ticket at Kiyotaki (bottom) or Takaosan (top) station; you can pay with PASMO/Suica or a contactless card, but IC cards do not work at the gate itself.
  2. Wheelchairs can ride; Takaosan station at the top has an elevator and staff help you board — just ask.
  3. Pets must be fully inside a carrier or pet buggy (fee ¥250 one way / ¥500 return per carrier); pets are not allowed on the chairlift.
