  1. Buy a ticket at the window or ticket machine: Hitoyoshi-Onsen (machine on the Kumagawa platform), Asagiri, Taragi (machine only) and Yunomae. Machines work while trains run.

Getting on

  1. From a station without a window or machine, buy a ticket beforehand if you can; otherwise pay on the train.
  2. One-man (single-car) train: board at the rear and take a numbered ticket (seiriken).
  3. Two or more cars: the conductor sells tickets on board.
