IC cards and payment in detail

Kotoden's own IruCa card and the ten nationwide transport IC cards (including Mobile Suica) work on all three lines (Kotohira, Nagao, Shido) and on Kotoden buses. Nationwide cards pay the plain adult or child fare (no IruCa discounts or train–bus transfer discount); some cards with operator-specific discounts cannot be used. IruCa cannot be used outside its own area. Nationwide cards can be topped up at IruCa windows at major stations; they cannot be refunded or reissued by Kotoden. Contactless credit-card touch is announced only for the Takamatsu Airport limousine bus. P
