ICOCA, PiTaPa and the other nationwide transport IC cards (Kitaca, PASMO, Suica, manaca, TOICA, Hayakaken, nimoca, SUGOCA) work on all Kintetsu train lines except the Ikoma Cable (生駒ケーブル) and the Katsuragi-san Ropeway (葛城山ロープウェイ); Kintetsu notes that a few cards of those types still cannot be used. Touch the card on the gate reader for at least one second when you enter and when you leave. You cannot combine two IC cards (e.g. ICOCA + PiTaPa) on one trip, including at the transfer gates at Tsuruhashi and Kintetsu-Nagoya. If you entered with an IC card you cannot change to another railway company without leaving the gates at Kintetsu-Tomida, Tsu, Matsusaka and Ise-shi. At Kashiwara and Yoshinoguchi, if you use one IC card for both JR West and Kintetsu, you must touch the simple card reader on the platform (at Yoshinoguchi, on the platform or in the underpass). If the balance is too low at the exit, top up at a fare adjustment machine first. ICOCA cards are sold from Kintetsu's commuter-pass machines. Contactless credit/debit cards: see cemv. P
