  1. Buy a ticket at the station window: adult ¥960 one way / ¥1,830 return, child (elementary school) ¥480 / ¥920. At Cable-Sakamoto station you can also pay with e-money, credit cards or QR-code payments (the accepted brands are shown only as images on the operator's page). Tickets can also be bought online in advance.
  2. Cars leave both ends at the same time, every 30 minutes (on the hour and half hour, roughly 8:00–17:30; from 8:30 in December–February); the ride takes about 11 minutes on Japan's longest cable-car line (2,025 m).
  3. Disability discount: show your handbook at the window when buying a same-day ticket.
