Step-free accessAll stations · Station list →PEvery station has elevators from street to ticket gates and from gates to platform, plus a wide gate. Staff or the driver set up a ramp to board (every train carries one); if no staff are around, use the intercom next to the ticket machines and say where you are going.
All ten nationwide transport IC cards work on both lines (Line 1 and Line 2); PASMO was introduced in 2009. You can top up at every station's ticket and charge machines, and at the staffed windows of Chiba, Chiba-minato, Tsuga and Chishirodai. One card pays for one person only: buy tickets for companions at the ticket machine (cash or IC balance). Discount fares (e.g. disability) are not applied by the gate: do not touch out, show your certificate and card at the window. Credit cards are not accepted at windows or machines (only for passes bought in Mobile PASMO / PASMO on Apple Pay). P

Wheelchair and stroller spaces are right behind the driver's cab.
Getting off
Leave through the gate with the same IC card or ticket. If you rode further than your ticket, pay the difference (no refund if you paid too much). Stopping off on the way ends a single ticket.
