Booking required. Reservations are required (no unreserved 2nd-class seats are sold); without one you may not get on, especially at weekends and holidays. Bookings open 2 months ahead (online from 6:00); online bookings close 24 hours before departure, after that call the reservation centre. Children pay half.

- Ticket windows at Tōyo Port and Osaka Nankō Port, on the day of sailing (online bookings cannot be paid in advance); check in at least 30 min before departure
- Reservations online or by phone (Tōyo 0898-64-4121, Osaka 06-6612-1811, 9:00–17:30)
Paying: Credit cards accepted at the Tōyo and Osaka port windows (PIN required); not on board. QR payments only in the restaurant.
