- Cars are in principle not allowed on Ōkunoshima; contact Kyukamura Ōkunoshima (0846-26-0321) beforehand if you must bring one. At busy times cars to the island may be restricted.
- When busy, the boats may run late.
- Kyukamura Ōkunoshima also runs its own passenger boats between Tadanoumi and Ōkunoshima (same 360 yen fare); their timetable is only published as an image.
