Tickets and booking P
No booking needed. Foot passengers need no reservation; check in at least 20 min before departure. Cars and bikes are not reservation-only but booking is recommended (cars online or by phone from 1 month ahead; no bookings at Golden Week). If you take the shuttle bus from JR Kumamoto Station you must book the ferry and bus together by phone.

- The shuttle bus between JR Kumamoto Station and Kumamoto Port needs a combined ferry + bus booking by phone (from 1 month ahead, 9:00 until 17:00 the day before); it does not run during Golden Week.
