Booking recommended. Tickets go on sale and bookings open 1 month ahead (phone bookings until 3 days before; also at the windows). On the day you fill in a boarding form and buy the ticket. Golden Week, summer holidays and festival periods can sell out, so buy early. Cars must be booked.

- Kume Shosen announced a fare revision on 17 August 2026; the fares shown here are the ones published before it, and the new fares could not be confirmed. Check with Kume Shosen for the current fare.
- Whether the boat calls at Tonaki may only be decided after departure, depending on the weather.
- Cancellations are decided at about 7:30 on the day.
- Board at least 15 minutes before departure (boarding opens 60 minutes before).
- No food is sold on board, only drinks from vending machines.
