Booking recommended. Booked passengers board first; without a booking you board only if seats are free, so booking is recommended (online or toll-free 0120-489-918). The sea taxi is reservation-only. In long holidays and at festivals bookings may not be taken.

- The regular boat leaves Kinkasan on time; if you miss it you must stay at the shrine or charter a sea taxi. There is not enough time to climb to the summit.
- Arrive at the ticket counter about 20 minutes before departure; boarding starts 10 minutes before.
