Booking: not confirmed. Tickets can be bought online from the day after purchase up to 30 days ahead (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay); the operator says an online ticket guarantees boarding but not a seat (all seats unreserved). Cars must be booked by phone in advance. At the window you fill in a passenger form (since 6 Oct 2026), so allow time.

- Visitors pay a 100 yen Iheya environment tax on top of the fare.
- Since 6 October 2026 everyone buying at the window must hand in a passenger application form; not needed for online tickets.
- Some Okinawa rental car firms do not allow their cars to be taken to the islands: check before shipping one.
