Booking recommended. Foot passengers on the ferry need no reservation. The high-speed boat (spring and summer only) takes reservations by phone (0164-62-1774), though you may board if seats are free. Cars, motorbikes and bicycles go only on the ferry and must be booked.

- In the one-ferry-a-day season (October–early April) the boat may leave the islands early, shortening your time ashore; check before sailing.
- Bicycles and motorbikes must be reserved for the ferry; the high-speed boat carries neither.
- Middle-school students pay the adult fare; the child fare is for primary-school children.
