- One-way tickets to Chikubushima are in principle not sold: buy a round trip or the lake crossing.
- Landing on Chikubushima costs extra: 600 yen adults, 300 yen children.
- If the stay on the island feels short, you can switch to the next boat back on the day (ask at the port window).
- Bicycles only folded in a bike bag (free, max. 6 per boat).
